Residence

Each year at UPEI, approximately 150 residence students remain on campus during the break between first semester exams and early January when students return to classes for the second semester. This year, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøInternational Student Office, in cooperation with Student Affairs staff, Campus Life Advisors, Residence Life, and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAlumni Association, supported and organized some activities for these students during the break, providing a sense of community and connection.

On Sunday, October 27, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøresidence students took part in a door-to-door food drive, Trick or Eat®, in support of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøfood bank. Led by Residence Life Advisor (RLA) Shelby Dyment, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøresidence team organized the event and collected non-perishable food items along a collection route in Charlottetown. The event, which is part of a national initiative, was deemed a success by everyone involved.

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstudents living in residence received a warm welcome from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstaff and fellow students on Friday, August 30. To make move-in day go as smoothly as possible for everyone, many campus partners gave of their time and expertise to make the day a great experience for UPEI’s new and returning residence students.
