Athletics and Recreation

Admission to home games is free with your student ID.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøhas some of the best sports and recreation facilities in Canada. Students can make use of the state-of-the-art fitness centre or participate in intramural and recreational programs at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre. The university campus also boasts an outdoor artificial turf field, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøAlumni Canada Games Place track and field facility, and the 160,000+ square-foot Bell Aliant Centre and MacLauchlan Arena. No matter what your sport or fitness goal may be—competitive, recreational, or personal—you’ll receive the support you need to reach it.

Campus Life Program
UPEI's Campus Life Program is here to help you build friendships, create memories and love university life!
Come hang out in the lounge where you will meet our Campus Life Advisors (CLAs), play a game, watch TV, study or just relax. Our CLAs plan all kinds of events throughout the year. If you would like to help or have an event idea, let us know. Come out and be a part of UPEI's campus life!

International Buddy Program
New incoming international students are paired with a returning domestic or international student to be their buddy. These buddies share their personal experiences with new international students.
The primary goal of the International Buddy Program is to provide assistance for a smooth transition to Canadian culture for new international students. By assisting these new students with things such as adapting to a new country, culture, and environment, and create a more relaxing and hospitable atmosphere for new international students.
