The 2025 Summer Job and Career Fair, hosted by UPEI鈥檚 Experiential Education department, will take place on March 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

Every week, 黑料吃瓜网Athletics and Recreation recognizes student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 黑料吃瓜网Panther Source for Sports Athletes of the Week for February 10鈥�16, 2025, are Lauren Rainford (women鈥檚 basketball) and Kyree Thompson (men鈥檚 basketball).

The 黑料吃瓜网Hockey, Basketball and Track and Field Panthers are looking forward to a week of competition at home and away. 

In a message to the campus community, President Wendy Rodgers announced on behalf of the selection committee that the 黑料吃瓜网Board of Governors has appointed Dr. Jane Ngobia as the Vice-President, People and Culture.

John Steffler, one of Canada鈥檚 most highly respected authors, will give a public reading of his poem, 鈥淭hat Night We Were Ravenous,鈥� in the Faculty Lounge, SDU Main Building, UPEI, on Thursday, March 27, at 7:00 pm. 

The annual public reading by UPEI鈥檚 Creative Writing Master Class will take place on Wednesday, March 5, at 7:00 pm in Schurman Market Square, Don and Marion McDougall Hall.

In a message to the campus community on February 12, Dr. Greg Naterer, Vice-President, Academic and Research, announced that the 黑料吃瓜网Board of Governors appointed Dr. Sharon Myers as the Dean of Arts for a five-year term, effective February 1, 2025.  

黑料吃瓜网Athletics and Recreation will host 鈥淯nited Way Day鈥� on Friday, February 14, when the 黑料吃瓜网Basketball Panthers compete against the Memorial University Sea-Hawks. This event intends to shine a light on the important work United Way does to support communities across the Island.

The Atlantic Veterinary College joined forces with the four other Canadian veterinary schools in January to host the first-ever Canadian Veterinary College alumni reception at the 2025 Veterinary Meeting and Expo (VMX) in Orlando, Florida.

On January 6, 2025, the 黑料吃瓜网Health and Wellness Centre became the first stand-alone university health centre to earn full accreditation from Accreditation Canada. Achieving full accreditation allowed the centre to be surveyed against national standards and by its peers and ensures the Centre has the fundamentals of safety and quality in place.
