Students in Dr. Stacey MacKinnon’s fourth-year Psychology of Good and Evil class wrapped up their fall semester by hosting a ϳԹPathways to Peace Day in late November in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre.

The ϳԹ held its 23rd Recognition of Founders ceremony on December 18, 2024. Recognized as 2024 Founders were Vickie Johnston, Dr. Michael Liu, and the Saint Dunstan’s University Board of Governors.

The ϳԹ is excited to welcome Jed Davies as the new head coach of the women’s and men’s soccer teams. Davies is a well-rounded coach with experience and success in youth development, and in university, professional, and international soccer.

| Atlantic Veterinary College

Veterinarians at the Atlantic Veterinary College confirm Santa's reindeer are in top physical condition and ready to guide sleigh on Christmas Eve.

Each year at UPEI, students look forward to events held across campus during the exam period, which are designed to ease stress, promote relaxation, and help with meals and nourishment. This year was no exception as various departments organized and hosted events.

The Sport PEI Board of Directors has made its selections for the 51st annual Sport PEI Amateur Sport Awards, and among those, two members of the ϳԹcommunity have been nominated, ϳԹfield hockey player Livi Lawlor and coach Lacey MacLauchlan.

Adnan Bhayo, a PhD candidate in Molecular and Macromolecular Sciences at the ϳԹ, is conducting breast cancer research with support from the (BHCRI).

In a message to the campus community, President Rodgers invites students, staff, and faculty to "save the dates" for a series of town halls in the 2025 winter semester.

 
 
| Special Event

One way that the ϳԹ honours its rich heritage and traditions is acknowledging people who have contributed to it in an exceptional way, naming them “Founders.” Everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate the 2024 Founders on December 18.

| Students

The ϳԹCampus Food Bank is relocating to the W.A. Murphy Student Centre over the usual holiday break with improved facilities and more resources to serve those in need better. The Campus Food Bank will reopen in its new location on January 8, 2025.
